Fesh faced Australian actor Justin Bellini has just wrapped filming his first Blockbuster feature film ‘Blood Money’ in Brisbane QLD.
The $15 million production is a martial arts based action thriller, detailing an underworld turf war when a Colombian drug lord moves to Australia and battles bikie gangs and Hong Kong triads, Led martial arts expert Zheng Liu…reports The Observer.
The 18 year old, who has studied at NIDA (National Institute of Dramatic Arts) applied for the role as a bodyguard, through an online casting agency and travelled to the Gold Coast for the audition. Despite the role only paying $160, Bellini was thrilled to have had the experience and is actively seeking his next role.
When asked about possibly working on Home and Away or Neighbours, he told The Observer, “If I had the chance to work on those shows, I would take it but I would probably die a little bit inside,” he laughed.
Bellini wanted to pay tribute to his Tannum High drama teacher Rebecca Robinson for encouraging him in his love for the stage.
The movie is set in Colombia, Australia and Hong Kong and is expected to be released in March, 2009.

When the movie finally comes out I will appear in the beginning scene. It’s not much but it’s given me a start. I have my name in the credits and am invited to the premier. Currently I am auditioning for three sepertae movies. One of which is for a lead role as a serial killer. Is it a positive thing for that role if I kill someone beforehand? You be the judge.
That’s fantastic Justin,
Any start is a good start, we look forward to seeing you on the big screen!
Always is good have a new actor/martial arts on the big screen…
