Australian actor Sam Worthingington is reported to have landed the lead role in the American legendary tale, ‘Clash of the Titans’. Worthington seems to be on a role in the US, recently filming ‘Terminator Salvation’ and ‘Avatar’.
A graduate of NIDA (Australia’s National Institute of Dramatic Art) in 1998, he is currently working along side Kira Knightley and Eva Mendez in the US feature film ‘Last Night’.
Not bad for an Aussie bloke who is reported as saying, in a Rove McManus interview, that he had no intention of becoming an actor and went to NIDA to support a friend. And no…his friend did not get accepted into the prestigious school.
