It was reported yesterday that David Field, director of the Australian feature film The Combination was devastated by the ban instilled by Greater Union, canceling the screening of the film in four Greater Union Cinema’s in Sydney’s western suburbs, due to an outbreak of violence among patrons.

V Australia announced on Saturday it would launch a three-flight per week service between Melbourne and Los Angeles on September 15 with all inclusive return economy launch fares from $1199.
…The route is in addition to already announced Sydney-Los Angeles and Brisbane-Los Angeles.
